Q: How much would it cost to get a 2006 BMW z4 fitted wit a removable hardtop?
I am considering purchasing a used bmw z4 and would like to know if i purchase a 2006 or 2007 z4 with a soft top am i able to get the dealer to install a removable hardtop and how much would it be? I live in washington state so it is important to me because it rains a lot. Any help would be greatly appriciated
A: As I answered previously, figure on around $3k for a hardtop, including fitting kit. Add a couple of hours for installation.
Look for a used hardtop on ebay, or on the BMW forums such as bimmerforums, bimmerfest, bimmerboard and roadfly. Look on the BMW CCA classifieds both nationally and for your local chapter.
Or look for a Z4 that already has a hardtop installed; you might need to travel further to find that.
Q: When does the 2009 Z4 BMW be released in the US?
Does anyone know when the 2009 z4 will come out to the US market. Please only serious answers please. No speculation unless you have facts. No one can seem to give me an answer even the dealers.

Q: BMW Z4 Coupe or Roadster? What would you choose? Does the coupe have a sunroof?
Ok, i'm looking to buy a bmw z4 but i happen to like the look of the coupe rather than the roadster.
The back of the car looks much better in the coupe version BUT then i lose the convertible.
Also do you know if the Coupe can come with a sunroof?

A: roadster, because the coupe looks disgusting. plus you'll enjoy the ability to take the top off during warm sunny days.

A: Well, since you haven't received any answers yet, I'll offer another place to look. I haven't played the game, so I'm unsure.

Q: Hi, has anyone driven the BMW z4 3.0. I just wanted to know if there is a lot of wind noise on the highway?
I'm interested in buying one but would consider the hard toped coupe if the noise is to great to ignore, I do understand there is some but how much....thanks!
A: The wind noise isnt bad at all. I notice the feeling more. The car sits low to the ground and goes fast. With the top up there is no noise. . I drove down winding back roads pretty fast and all i can say is it was awesome. I also stood up in the car while someone else was driving going about 50 miles an hour- With me standing up straight with someone else going 50 miles an hour i could hear what they were saying to me so it cant be that bad.
You can also sit in the center Bottom line is there is NO NOISE with the top up and with it down you can easily have conversations on the normal roads and background even if you are going over 50. On the highways its a little noisier because of the all the cars and trucks but thats it.
Q: Anyone know how I would pair my phone with my BMW Z4?
I get the phone to find the car but I dont have the number to put in the phone and its not 0000
A: You need the code you initially set at the dealer. If you forgot what it was go to the any BMw service dept and have it reset for you.
Q: Does BMW Z4 M Coupe has any collector's value?
I have a BMW Z4 M coupe, a 2007 car, but now I have a very hard time selling it. Even BMW dealership told me this is a very special car, only for a special segment of the market, that is people who are BMW speed car fan! If I decide to keep it for 10 years, would it have any collector's value to this type of car??
A: of course IT IS NOT, and why would you believe what a bmw salesman would tell you?? they are afterall no different thant GM, Ford or Nissan salesman..........and will say anything to make a sale.
Z4 is a decent car, not great, M series better, but still not in collector limited edition arena. Basically all of the BMW's are commodity cars, lots of production numbers and very very few special editions....and regretfully like most of BMW's latest performance models - come up short in most performance reviews and specifically its competition in your case - the porsche cayman S......
Q: Can i fit a BMW Z4 M Coupe front end to my standard Z4 3.0 SI Coupe?
My car was in a a front end accident, so i thought why not put the M Coupe front end on? There is clearly a difference between the two but my area for concern is that the M Coupe's front fenders seem more flared than my standard Z4 3.0 Coupe
A: My guess is 'yes' it would fit. But, I would check out front end air dams and spoiler kits from Hamann and Schnitzer. Maybe that's all you need, depending how damaged your car is. Plus you could check into their side skirts, rear end aero panels, and spoiler.

Q: '07 BMW Z4 with factory iPod interface and Navigation?
I'm planning to have one installed but would like to know if you can you read song titles / performer on the nav screen? I don't want to install a third party product. Thanks.
A: a factory ipod interface will display songs/performers, but if there is a lot of info on your ipod it will take a long time to download. check out this website.

Q: Does anyone know how to adjust BMW z4 headlight?
I see two adjuster for headlight?? Why two adjuster? Don't know which to adjust.
A: Use your owner's manual. There is always going to be 2 screws on the mounting brackets for the headlights on is to adjust the up and down angles (usually the inside one) and the outter one is to angle it in, in or out.
