A: Oh yes, it's real my friend. The M3 launch has been long expected for quite some time now. BMW is, however, taking its time to perfect the newest M3 in order to outmatch the latest 420hp RS4. The newest M3 will in fact come with a V-8 engine, the first for the M3 after its long years of I-6's. I cannot wait for it to come out either. If it is any good enough it stands the chance of replacing my RS4, but that's not very likely.

A: there are simply too many variables. a car can flip if it hits a curb just right at a speed as slow as 10mph. a crappy driver can lose control of a car when it hasn't even started moving yet.

Q: Could a Mercedes SL55 AMG out run the new 2008 BMW M3?
A: Both vehicles are actually restricted to 250 km/h ( 155 mph ).
However, on the Benz, you can opt for the AMG Performance Package ( as if the AMG didn't have enough performance already ) which, among other things, removes the governor. Without the governor, the car is capable of around 300km/h ( 186 mph )

A: It simply means that they don't owe anything on it. It's a pretty ballsy statement, people love to get their keys out for statements like that. One of my clients had specialty NY plates that said "ENVYME" guess what happened.

Does someone know when the BMW M3 sedan 2008 comes out? I really would like to buy one, i love the M3 line up, im 18, so that why i like the M3 models, there much more sporty looking then the other bigger models like the 6 and 7 series.
Someone told me in June, but not sure if he is correct.
A: The first batch of '08 M3's arrived in port a few days ago. Those are mostly press fleet and other factory demos.
Unfortunately most of them were damaged beyond repair due to a shipping accident. (read the link) That is pushing back M3 deliveries a bit.
In any case if you don't have a reservation, it won't be easy to get one this year. I've seen reports of people paying $40,000 OVER MSRP or around $90,000 to get to the front of the line. Yikes.

Q: 2007 Audi RS4 or 2008 BMW M3 or 2008 MB C63?
All of these cars are extreme high-performance cars, but if it came down to picking one of these cars, which will it be? I am willing to wait for the "perfect car" if it means a year. It is a huge investment for me. If possible, please support your answer with reasons (I recognize that the M3 and C63 may not have some or any specs released, for they haven't been released).
Mercedes C63 AMG, the new one.
A: The m3 is still the all around car to beat. with the new 420 hp v8 to rival the RS4 and eventually the C63, the m3 should accelerate to 60 in less than 4.5 seconds. the 300 hp twin turbo six cylinder the 335 has accelerates to sixty in 4.9 secs, so the 100 hp extra should make it half-one second faster. the e30 m3 was voted the best handling car in car and driver about ten or so years ago, so the new M3 should handle just as well, even if it doesn't have all wheel drive. AMG's are all about power, and Audi's V8 sounds like crap. The M3 is still the best.
